Links-This will lead you to various recordings of the All-State
Etudes for band. These recordings are made by the professors of Iowa
State University.
- West Music- This is the website for the music company that services our school. You can shop online for various items and have them delivered to the school.
- Tap Music- This is a link to an on-line catalogue of music and recordings for all wind instruments.
- Woodwind-Brasswind-
This link takes you to Woodwind Brasswind, a company through which you
can often get disounted prices on reeds and other band accessories. If
you are unsure what kind accessories or reeds you need, email your
director through their page.
- Iowa Jazz Championships- This link is to information about the Iowa Jazz Championships Competition.
- University of South Carolina Jazz Improvisation Coursework- This is an excellent resource for jazz improvisation pratice.
- Jazz at Lincoln Center: This website has a lot of neat information about jazz music.

- Color Guard Central- This link contains information pertaining to color guard (flags). This is an excellent resource for students currently in the flag squad and for those who may wish to try out in the future.

- Practice Sight-Reading:
This site helps you to practice your sight-reading skills by improving
your ability to read rhythms. This neat tool creates random rhythms for
you to practice reading. This is a neat thing to look up when you are
looking for something to do on-line.

- National Band Association: This organization supports band programs and teachers throughout our country and the world. Mr. Taylor was recently elected as a member of the Board of Directors for this organization representing elementary, middle school, and junior high band directors.
- Iowa Bandmaster's Association: All three band directors are members of this organization which sponsors many of the contests that we attend. This organization also sponsors a scholarship contest each year for high school seniors called the Major Landers scholarship.
